Unlike fishing (which is possible for tourists under certain conditions), hunting is only possible for people who have a hunting license for a specific area.
But it is possible for hunters to contact a local hunting association and to have a hunting license issued for a day.
In any case, any person who wishes to hunt in the department must have a valid hunting license.
DIFFERENT HUNTERS, DIFFERENT CATEGORIES OF HUNT
Hunting with hounds: one can do it in a wood or on a plain. The hunter walks, often with a dog and shoots the game (essentially small game).
Beat hunting: it consists of positioning hunters round a piece of land in which drivers and dogs track down the game. The hunters shoot the animals as they try to escape the area.
Hunting from a hide or stalking: this way of hunting is used to select the hunted animals; it is very discrete (like bow hunting is).
Bow hunting: it is very quiet and done individually. It consists of approaching the animal as close as possible.
